22 weeks

Ok, so I know I'm bad about updating things on here.... :-)
On June 30th, EJ and I went to an appointment for the ultrasound. We had decided jointly up until this day to NOT find out the sex of this baby. We found out this baby has a healthy- looking heart and overall great development! The tech said the baby is measuring about a week ahead of schedule!!
About 15 minutes into the appointment, EJ knew I wanted to know the sex of this baby. He "agreed" to let me find out the sex, after I had him promise me that he won't hold this against me in 1o years. So we found out........IT'S A BOY!! Our entire family is ecstatic and ready for some testosterone in this house!! Now this little guy just needs a name...................
I had my monthly dr. visit the following day and the doctor confirmed that ultrasound pictures look great and this little boy looks healthy. The doctor did tell me that I'm measuring "several" weeks ahead and "it's probably a good thing that I'm having another c-section". (Side note, Faith was 9 pounds 9 ounces for those that don't know!!!!) So, should I continue to be much larger than expected, they may end up doing the surgery a bit earlier!
So I'm 22 weeks now and continuing to feel good. I'm feeling this little boy CONSTANTLY moving and it's wonderful!! I'm a bit uncomfortable at times, but trying not to complain because there is nothing else in the world I'd rather be right now than huge and uncomfortable!! LOL!!
It is bittersweet when I think that I *should* be having a baby next week, had we not experienced the miscarriage; however when I get sad I just touch my moving belly and I'm able to get through it. I know this little boy has been given to me for a reason and I wouldn't change anything at all!!!!

  1. Great post lady. The bittersweet sucks--but you muddle through. The one day *POP*! It's a bouncing baby boy. :^D
