15 Weeks
It's been a few weeks since my inital post. My sis requested another post so here goes!!
I had another dr. appt. about 2 weeks ago. Found the babys heartbeat right away (phew!!) on the doppler and it was beating about 16o bpm. Other than that, it was a pretty uneventful appt. and I go back on June 1st.
I had to do an early glucose test yesterday which tests for gestational diabetes. Typically, this is done at 28 weeks but I had it done at 15 weeks due to Faith being such a HUGE baby!! (She was 9 pounds, 9 ounces for those who didn't know!!) The test consists of drinking this sugary syrup, waiting at the office for 1 hour and then having a blood draw. I used to be aHUGE needle phobic, but I've gotten pretty brave:-)
Nothing much else to report... Feeling pregnant, looking pregnant, and overall feeling good!!!
The glucose test is the worst, terrible stuff to do to a pregnant lady. They should just let you eat a dozen Dunkin Donuts & then test your blood :)
